Meet the founders

Michael has always loved being at camp. He grew up watching his mother run kitchens as a camper and has worked in camp kitchens across the country. With over three decades of Jewish summer camp experience, he genuinely loves everything about camp culture!

Efrat joined Michael at camp in the summer of 2014 adding her fun-loving energy, Israeli and Jewish traditions and of course her delicious homemade Challahs for each shabbat. She also oversees staff training programs, provides her organizational expertise and leadership skills.

Together, they oversee and enjoy working with the Hamsa Cooking team to ensure the highest quality level of service and cuisine!
